areas still bad?

Which areas in the south end of the county (Appy, BSG, coal camps) are still bad e.g. trees down, lines down, etc.?

I need some shots and dont have 4 wheel drive to safely explore with

Don't go looking for much bad news in BSG. It's pretty much clear. Heck, there are some places where you can see grass. I heard the Valley was still kind of bad and parts of Appalachia were rough. This morning on 23, crews were still clearing trees. If you want bad news, you need to head to the eastern end of the county.

Guest River is starting to clear up I hear. should have seen it yesterday though, pertty bad.

I live on Guest River - got the privilege of seeing that mess first hand (nothing like a transformer blowing up 20 feet from the house - was so bright I was seeing one huge black spot for about 2 hours LOL).

I was walking through Wise when a transformer blew up in my face... it scared the piss out of me, and I saw all kinds of pretty colors for a while haha..

Take ms pemberly's advice if you want to see something head to the eastern part of the county. Still no power at my house in Flatwoods and from the job corp to the county line down the mountain looks like a warzone. Really want to get some shots head on down to Dungannon.

I've seen still existing areas like that on the northern and eastern sections of the counties (AEP service areas mostly it seems). Just driving down 58 you wonder if those trees are going to finish falling off the hillside and hit your car....

I primarily needed southern end photos during the worst of it since that's my coverage area for work. That section is up and running for the most part now.
